The untold story of the woman whose defiance against a papal inquisitor sparks a reckoning of lust and vengeance that gives birth to the Malleus Maleficarum.

Burn Her Slowly is a historical psychological thriller inspired by true events, set against the dawn of the European witch hunts. At its centre is a woman whose defiance against a papal inquisitor ignites a brutal reckoning of lust, betrayal and survival — and inadvertently gives birth to the Malleus Maleficarum, the witch hunters' bible that would sanction the persecution of women for centuries.

As seven accused women fight for their lives, the trial becomes a battle of desire, power and the silencing of female inheritance. This is the untold story of the woman who set the fire that history used to burn countless others.
