About
I write stories that smolder.
I’m a Swedish-Polish screenwriter, published author, and poet with a BA in Literature and Film Studies and a degree in Social Work. I have a ten-year background as a journalist and writer, and I currently work as a child welfare social worker. My work often explores power, desire, trauma, and psychological tension.
I’m drawn to the sacred and the profane, to complex female characters, and to the silence that lives around power and intimacy. My debut poetry collection Daddy Issues explores trauma, intimacy, and defiance within the architecture of postmodern love. Drawing from history, folklore, and feminist theory, I craft narratives where the body remembers what the world tries to forget.
My feature Burn Her Slowly placed Top 3 at the Slamdance Screenwriting Competition and won Best Feature Screenplay at the Berlin Screenwriting Festival. I’m developing the period drama limited series Dorothy. My TV pilot BITE ME!, a feminist dark vampire-comedy, is completed.
