I Guess I Can Stop Saying “Aspiring” Now

A huge career update, and an equally large bottle of champagne.

I’ve signed my first - paid - screenwriting contract with a US production company.

I wish I could say it was discipline that got me here. And sure, there’s some of that. But mostly it’s an insane capacity for hyperfocus (high five fellow ADHDers) that leaves me dazed for days, and a frankly unreasonable conviction that I know this craft and that I can fucking do this.

Turns out, sometimes unreasonable conviction pays.

Anyway. I guess I can retire “aspiring screenwriter” now. 🥂
